FAQ’s

  • Does anything happen after the show?
    Yes – people go to one of the nearby pubs, bars, clubs or they go home. But everyone leaves happy! Sometimes one of the comedians might even join you, normally the MC but he drinks water so don’t leave him astray.
  • How to book tickets?
    Tickets can be purchased on our website for all shows. If you would like to pay on the door please email us to check availability.
  • What do we do when we arrive?
    Doors to open from 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm. Please arrive no later than 7:45pm for seating and allowing time to get your drinks at the bar.
  • What is the latest we can arrive?
    Please arrive no later than 7.30pm to allow time for getting drinks etc especially if part of a large group.
  • What is your Cancellation/Transfer policy?
    We can’t generally cancel or refund your tickets but if you let us know in advance you can transfer your booking to someone else. If you buy our tickets though us on this website the tickets, where possible, there is some flexibility for example to move you to another date if you give us 48 hours notice. Tickets purchased from third party sellers are not flexible at all and must be used for date purchased and cannot be refunded. So its always best to buy from us direct for flexible tickets and top customer service!
  • What is the accessibility like at your venues?
    All our venues have full disabled access and disabled toilet facilities. We do ask that you pre-book if there are any specific settings arrangements needed to ensure we set the room up accordingly.
  • Do you offer concession tickets and what does it cover?
    Yes, we offer concession tickets for nearly all of our shows. Our concessions currently cover OAP’s, students, NHS staff, Armed Forces, Service (Police, Ambulance, Fire Service). We do ask you to bring relevant ID on the night to verify this or you would be asked to pay the difference to a general ticket.
  • Is there a dress code?
    No you can wear what you like but we recommend a smart dress code for our Friday & Saturday night shows.
  • I’ve bought tickets but haven’t received them?
    We send you an order confirmation email and thats all you need. The venue will be expecting you and so just show this email  at the venue box office when you arrive. If you haven’t got the email then it will be in your your ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ folder as they often  hide in there. Please search for info@lolcomedyclubs.co.uk. We will tell the venue you are coming so even if you dont have your email all you need is proof of ID (passport, driving licence or credit card you paid with).
  • When will I receive my ticket?
    You will receive your ticket straight away as an e-ticket once your order is placed. The ticket email or the order confirmation email is all you need to get into the show. The venue will know you are coming so even if you dont have your email all you need is proof of ID (passport, driving licence or credit card you paid with).
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We accept any credit/debit card.
  • What time does it open?
    Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8pm.
  • I’m booking a stag/hen party, are we allowed to attend?
    Yes of course and we want you to have a brilliant experience. Equally we want all our customers to enjoy the night at so if you misbehave you’ll be asked to leave!
  • Do you accept group bookings?
    Yes. Please see our group bookings page
  • Is there food available before the show?
    Not currently but there are plenty of places to eat nearby.
  • Can I reserve seating?
    Let us know once you’ve booked your ticket whether you’d like to sit front, middle, back or sides and we’ll do our best to reserve for you and let you know, Some shows are completely unreserved so at those shows all seating is first come first served. We will do our very best to ensure that groups are always sat together but arrangement of the seating will be at our discretion.
  • Can I purchase tickets on the door?
    Yes, as long as it’s not sold out all remaining tickets will be available on the door
  • How long does show last?
    Shows generally finish at 10:30-45pm which gives you plenty of time if you are getting the last trains/buses home.
  • Can I Heckle and talk while acts on stage?
    We have a strict rule of no heckling of the acts or talking whilst on stage. Anyone being deliberately disruptive during the show may be politely asked to leave (we just want everybody to enjoy the show).
  • Does anything happen after the show?
    Customers are welcome to continue to enjoy their nights in the bar area of the restaurant or head off to one of the bars/pubs/clubs that are all very close to the venue
  • What is the layout of the comedy show?
    Our clubs is set up with theatre style seating as it creates a great atmosphere for laughter.
  • What is the format of the evening?
    Generally for theatre shows we start at 8pm – 1st act – 1st interval approx 8:40pm – 2nd act – 2nd interval approx 9:45pm – headline act – show ends approx 10:20-45pm

  • Are there any age restrictions?
    Most of our shows are 16+ as some of the material being used by the comedians may not be suitable for younger people.
