Tim Renkow is a comedian with cerebral palsy. He is originally from the US but he moved to London to do comedy two years ago and has just won Leicester Square New Comedian of the Year and the prestigious Amused Moose Laugh Off Award as well as being nominated for Chortle best newcomer.
He’s done over 1000 shows, including clubs like Top Secret Comedy Club, Up the Creek Hot Water Comedy Club, Downstairs at the Kings Head Comedy Cafe and others. He’s also gone on to have two critically acclaimed Edinburgh shows and his show ‘King of the Tramps’!! was awarded 5 stars and critical acclaim.
Tim has numerous TV appearances such as NBC’s Before the Night After, BBC’s Fresh from the Fringe and has written for ITV’s Off Their Rockers. In an exciting and brave move from the BBC, Tim will be gracing our screens this summer as the writer and star of the very brilliant sitcom A Brief History of Tim for BBC3 Comedy.
He is brutally honest, shockingly sharp, encompasses a cuttingly dark yet somehow cheerful sense of humour and no subject is off limits.
