Mick Ferry award winning star of BBC1`s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and writer for John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1) is on his way to Stoke. Mick is a top class headliner who’s renowned as a fine and imaginative act so much so he is one of the most sought after comics on the British and International comedy circuit.
On TV he’s starred in BBC1`s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow as well as Comedy Blue and The Comedy Store (both Comedy Central). He made his big screen debut in 2009 in Ken Loach’s Looking For Eric – a hit feature film at the Cannes film festival where it was nominated for the prestigious Palm D’Or. A prolific comic, he is a writer on John Bishop’s Britain (BBC1) and has helped make the show a ratings success.
Mick is much admired amongst his fellow comics and has been invited to perform as the official tour support not just for Johnny Vegas but for Sean Lock, Peter Kay, Al Murray and Steve Coogan too. No surprise then that he’s been voted by Best Live Uk Stand-Up 2013 is part of the team that triumphantly won the Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner Panel Prize 2014.
