Christopher Macarthur Boyd is following in the footsteps of fellow Scottish comedians Kevin Bridges and Daniel Sloss, Christopher made it to the final of a highly prestigious competition for new acts at Edinburgh Fringe Festival. His self-mockery and ability to tell gags at his own expense, including his hilarious response to people feeling the need to inform in who they think he resembles is one of his many loveable assets.
Christopher is a three-time Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist, a So You Think You’re Funny? finalist, has been shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Award, nominated two years in a row for Best New Act at the Scottish Comedy Awards and nominated Best New Comedian at the Scottish Variety Awards.
In 2015 whilst coming runner up for The Scottish Comedian of The Year he even finished one routine with such strength of delivery it received a spontaneous applause from the audience.
