Callum Oakley is a British comedian famous for his appearance in the 2012 series of Britain’s Got Talent.
The Merseyside-born comic began performing stand-up in 2010 at the age of 14, and just two years later he was given a shot at stardom courtesy of his appearance on the famed talent contest.
Callum did not disappoint, earning a place in the semi-finals after fellow comedian David Walliams told him: “I’ve never seen a stand-up comic so young and so brilliant!”
Since his moment in the sun in front of Simon Cowell and his judges, Callum has established himself as a bona fide comedian and gone on to tour the UK performing his stand-up comedy set to audiences at a range of venues, including Jongleurs, the Manchester Comedy Club and the Laughter House.
Now one of the most popular comedians working on the circuit, Callum has performed at a number of corporate events. He is applauded for his ability to adapt – his stand-up comedy set is versatile and memorable and can be tailored to suit any audience.
Outside his stand-up comedy work Callum has also begun working as a TV presenter; his humour and wonderful personality make him perfectly suited to such a role and his fledgling career continues to come on in leaps and bounds.
